Zorgvliet Wine Estate can be the perfect venue for you, if you want to add a touch of magic and style to your big day.

Nestled in the Banhoek Valley near Stellenbosch, you will be amazed at the breathtakingly spectacular views of the

Simonsberg Mountains and vineyards, and your wedding pictures will afford you absolutely classic memories.

Zorgvliet Wine Estate offers a variety of options; we have a very elegant wedding venue (The Oak room) for your

reception and a chapel for you ceremony. We also have our country lodge’s lounge area (The Banhoek room) that can be

used for pre drinks. For the guests who would like to stay over we have a country lodge on the premises walking

distance from the venue. For pre or post wedding activities your guests can enjoy our wonderful picnic and deli area and

a country styled restaurant with a French twist for a more formal dinning experience. We also have a cellar that you can

tour by appointment or visit our wine tasting and savour the taste of Zorgvliet.

Zorgvliet Wine estate is a secure estate, with a 24 hour security service and secure parking area’s for your guests

 

 

Catering

 

• Catering can be done in house by Zorgvliet or own caterers can be brought in at an

additional kitchen hire.

 

• Zorgvliet wine estate will nominate outside caterers at its sole discretion.

• If you are making use of an outside caterer, you will be obliged to liaise with the

Zorgvliet venue manager and there will be a kitchen venue hire of R5000.00 to use the

kitchen space.

 

• Our in house caterers can provide you with the below options.

• Please note that these are food prices only and that service staff are not included in these

prices.

 

• Service staff can be organized by Zorgvliet.

• The Zorgvliet picnic area and Wood oven restaurant are situated in the most picturesque setting – a piece of

heaven fallen from the sky where you can be lost in your dreams, inhale the fresh air of the Banhoek Valley and

bask in the warm sunshine.

 

• At the Zorgvliet picnic area and Wood oven restaurant, you and your family can enjoy the spectacular views of

the surrounding mountains and vineyards. The vineyards all have a different shade of green according to the

types of cultivar. They are a perfect backdrop to the historic white washed Cape Dutch architecture of

Zorgvliet Wine Estate’s buildings. Select the picnic basket of your choice from the picnic basket menu offered,

or select from our gourmet lunch menu and experience a culinary journey that will excite your taste buds.

 

• The Zorgvliet picnic area and Wood oven restaurant has ample space for your kids to run around and play

games. Alternatively, they can play on the jungle gym situated next to the Zorgvliet picnic area. Experience the
